Pre-Departure Guidelines

Itinerary and Participation

  • This tour requires a minimum of 16 participants. A qualified tour leader will accompany the group from Taiwan.

  • Special meal requests (e.g., vegetarian) may not be as varied as in Taiwan; guests are advised to bring supplementary items such as canned food or instant noodles.

  • Single travelers will be paired with a same-gender roommate. If a single room is preferred, the applicable surcharge will apply.

  • Requests for specific room types, floors, or connecting rooms will be forwarded to the hotel but are not guaranteed.

  • Participants aged 70 or above, those with mobility issues, or minors must be accompanied by a responsible adult.

  • Travelers with dual nationality or non-Taiwanese passports should verify entry requirements and inform the tour operator in advance.

  • This is a group tour; individual deviations from the itinerary are not permitted. For more flexibility, consider a customized package.

  • In case of unforeseen events (e.g., traffic, weather), the tour leader may adjust the schedule to ensure safety and smooth operations.

Flights and Baggage

  • Arrive at the airport 2–3 hours before departure for check-in and security procedures.

  • Baggage allowances vary by airline and class. Refer to the respective airline's policy for details.

  • Group seating is assigned by the airline; specific seat requests (e.g., aisle/window) cannot be guaranteed.

Accommodation

  • Hotel ratings are based on local standards and may differ from those in Taiwan.

  • Rooms are typically twin-share; requests for double beds or additional beds are subject to availability and may incur extra charges.

  • Some hotels may not provide toiletries or slippers; guests are advised to bring their own essentials.

  • Smoking is prohibited in hotel rooms; fines for violations are the responsibility of the guest.

Safety and Conduct

  • Follow the tour leader's instructions and adhere to scheduled meeting times.

  • For personal safety, do not leave the group during free time without informing the tour leader or fellow travelers.

  • Travelers with medical conditions (e.g., heart disease, hypertension) should assess their ability to participate in physically demanding activities.

  • Keep valuables and important documents secure and avoid displaying large amounts of cash in public.

  • Bring necessary medications and any required medical documentation.

Legal and Regulatory Compliance

  • Comply with local laws and customs regulations, including restrictions on prohibited items and behaviors.

  • Ensure all travel documents, including passports and visas, are valid and meet entry requirements.
