To consider the travel safety of passengers and to protect the travel rights of other members in the group, we kindly ask you to cooperate with the following matters. This is our responsibility to inform you and also to safeguard your rights.

1、Trip reminders：
 

• This itinerary is a charter train service and is not affected by the number of participants. A qualified tour leader will accompany the group from Taiwan to provide service.

• For those with special dietary requirements (such as vegetarian meals): The meal arrangements for overseas group tours may not be as abundant and varied as in Taiwan. It is recommended to prepare canned food or instant noodles for emergencies.

• For single registrants: Hotel and train accommodations are primarily based on double occupancy. For single registrants, our company will prioritize pairing you with another same-gender traveler or the tour leader for shared accommodation. Due to cabin restrictions and cost considerations, we are unable to arrange single occupancy.

• Conscripts: Must apply for exit permission from the relevant authorities.

• Non-national travelers: The relevant regulations listed in this itinerary apply only to travelers holding a Republic of China passport. If you have dual nationality or hold a passport from another country, please verify the relevant regulations yourself and inform your sales representative in advance.

• This itinerary is for group travel, and we kindly ask all esteemed guests to adhere to the group assembly times.

• To ensure the safety of travelers, we are unable to accept requests to leave the group during the trip. If this does not meet your travel needs, we recommend purchasing a packaged free travel option.

• To maintain the quality of travel and the rights of our guests, we will adjust and properly arrange the order of the travel itinerary based on the actual local conditions of food, accommodation, transportation, etc., without changing the content of the itinerary. The actual arrangements will follow the information provided during the pre-departure briefing. If there are any unforeseen factors such as traffic jams or natural disasters during the trip, we will prioritize the safety and smoothness of the itinerary and may adjust meals and travel plans accordingly. We appreciate your understanding.

• The discounts for the admission tickets to the attractions included in this itinerary have already been factored into the group fee, so there is no price difference available for refund. We appreciate your understanding.

• Chinese restaurants and restroom stops sell silk calligraphy, carved teapots, tea, and other artworks or local specialties, and they are not designated shopping points. Travelers are advised to be aware of this.

• When traveling to China, please take a moment to adjust yourself and familiarize yourself with the local environment. This way, you will likely have a wonderful journey, and remember to respect local customs.

• In accordance with China's transportation safety regulations, personal or checked luggage carried on high-speed trains (bullet trains) must not contain various knives, firearms, ammunition, or other dangerous items. Therefore, please do not bring these items on board; otherwise, you may face administrative penalties such as fines, detention, or confiscation. Any losses incurred will be your responsibility.

• The Republic of China passport is used for entry and exit inspections in Taiwan. When entering or exiting China, please present a valid Taiwan Compatriot Permit.

• After the group members receive their passports, please check that all documents inside the passport cover are complete. If anything is missing, please notify the tour leader.

• Prohibited activities: Soliciting prostitution is not allowed, and bringing fruits and meat products in and out of the country is prohibited. Additionally, to ensure a smoother travel experience, please avoid discussing political topics that may affect the travel atmosphere.

 
2、Flights & Baggage：
 

• Please arrive at the airport 2 to 3 hours before your flight departure to avoid congestion and delays in check-in procedures.

• The tour leader or the escort staff will greet the group members at the airport group check-in counter and assist with the check-in procedures and baggage drop-off.

• Baggage check-in: Each airline has different policies regarding free baggage allowance based on the itinerary and class of service. Please refer to the announcements from each airline for the applicable rules.

• The baggage check-in weight limits set by each airline are as follows: (If the limit is exceeded, passengers will need to pay additional fees as specified by the airline.)

1. EVA Air (UNI Air), China Airlines (Mandarin Airlines), Cathay Pacific (Dragonair), and Shandong Airlines allow one checked baggage per person, with a weight limit of 23 kilograms.

2. China Eastern Airlines, China Southern Airlines, Sichuan Airlines, Hainan Airlines, Air China, Lucky Air, Xiamen Airlines, and Mongolian Airlines allow one checked baggage per person, with a weight limit of 23 kilograms and a total dimension (length + width + height) not exceeding 158 centimeters.

3. For domestic flights in China, the checked baggage allowance is one piece per person, with a weight limit of 20 kilograms, and the carry-on baggage allowance is one piece per person, with a weight limit of 5 kilograms.

• After entering customs, please keep track of the duty-free shopping time and do not delay boarding.

• Group seating is arranged by the airline and is not eligible for pre-selection before departure. It is also not possible to confirm specific seating requests (such as window or aisle seats). Seats are assigned in order of English names, so traveling companions may not be seated together. The tour leader will do their best to assist, but if your needs cannot be met, we kindly ask for the understanding of all participating guests!

 
3、Hotel accommodation：
 

1. Our company reserves the right to make the final decision on hotel accommodations of the same category.

2. Hotel accommodations are based on double occupancy in a twin room (two small beds). If you request a double bed room or an extra bed, it will depend on the hotel's availability and cannot be guaranteed.

3. Due to public safety concerns, many hotels in various countries have regulations prohibiting smoking in rooms. If fines are incurred due to personal actions, the individual will be responsible for covering those costs.

4. Some hotels provide electric kettles in the rooms for guests to boil water. These kettles are only for that purpose and should not be used to heat any items (such as coffee grounds, tea leaves, hot pot ingredients, instant noodles, etc.). Additionally, do not place the kettle on an induction cooker to heat it.

5. If you have any questions about the use of hotel facilities, please be sure to ask the tour leader or hotel staff. Otherwise, you will be responsible for any safety issues or damages that may occur.

6. For safety reasons, please avoid using multi-plug extension cords in the room to prevent excessive voltage load.

7. Please do not enter the pool for swimming when it is closed, and remember not to swim alone.

8. Snacks on the bar in the room, as well as alcoholic beverages and drinks in the refrigerator, are all chargeable. You need to settle the payment at the front desk upon check-out.

9. In recent years, global environmental awareness has risen, and some hotels in China will no longer provide disposable items (such as toothpaste, toothbrushes, combs, bath towels, razors, nail files, and shoe polish). Travelers are advised to bring their own personal toiletries and slippers to avoid any inconvenience.

10. Hotel Rules in China：

• Hotel ratings in China are based on a star system, with five stars being the highest and one star being the lowest.     

• In recent years, the rapid development in China has led to a surge in the number of hotels, resulting in the emergence of the term "quasi-star rated." The following explanation addresses this phenomenon：

1. New hotels must operate for a year before they can undergo star rating evaluations. However, hotels are constructed according to the specifications of their intended star ratings, which leads to terms like "quasi-five-star" and "quasi-four-star" being used.

2. ​Some hotels do not participate in star rating evaluations, but they are constructed according to the specifications of various star ratings, which results in terms like "quasi-five-star" and "quasi-four-star" being used.

4、Safety Regulations：
 

1. During the group tour, please follow the announcements made by the tour leader and obey the instructions of the staff. If you wish to go out during the night or free activity time, please inform the tour leader or fellow travelers, and be sure to pay attention to safety.

2. Pregnant women and travelers with heart disease, high blood pressure, or other chronic conditions should assess their own health status and avoid participating in stimulating activities, such as water sports or hot springs, to prevent adding physical strain.

3. When boarding a boat or engaging in water activities, be sure to wear a life jacket and do not cross the safety warning lines.

4. Please keep your valuables and important documents secure and carry them with you; do not leave them in your suitcase, hotel room, or car. Remember not to display wealth in public, and avoid taking out large stacks of cash while shopping.

5. Please remember to bring your regular medications, such as gastrointestinal medicine, cold medicine, motion sickness pills, and any personal medications you commonly use. If you have any special medications, please inform the staff in advance and bring relevant documentation for the medications.
